![]() I have to physically turn on the display for Teamviewer to be able to function correctly. ![]() If I send ctrl-alt-del to the NUC, I get a corrupted display as described elsewhere. Once I turn off my HDMI connected display, and put the NUC to sleep then wake it up with the display off, Teamviewer shows the black screen as described in this thread. I have exactly the same problem as orange109 with my new NUC5PPYH which I'm using with Kodi as an HTPC. I'm running a business this is not just for fun and I have to have remote access support for the stations I have on my clients. This is just ridicules Intel!! Why don't you check these crucial things before releasing new models? especially when there were so many complaints about this topic. REMOTIX ULTRAVNC CONFIGURATION DRIVERI tried updating the bios to the latest version and also tried installing the latest HD Graphics driver available for this NUC with Win 8.1 ' GFX_Win7_8.1_64_15.' See attached screen shots in the new /message/327513# 327513 discussion.īut now after not being able to get the previous DN2820FYKH model any more I had to switch to the new model ( NUC5CPYH) which does not allow me to remote access with neither UltraVNC/Teamviewer when booting headles! When trying to do the same steps, I click 'detect' but nothing happens! Then under multiple displays drop down list I chose 'Try to connect anyway on: VGA' Click on the 'Another display not detected' boxģ. I was using the DN2820FYKH (previous model of Celeron based NUC) until now and was able to remote access the NUC while headless booting with UltraVNC after configuring in (MS Windows 8.1 Home Edition OEM) Screen Resolution the following:Ģ. The following message/reply was also posted /message/327513# 327513 as a new discussion (with screenshots as well) since the initial topic was about another NUC model.Īnyway, I've been reading this post a while ago. Dell screen reports that computer is not sending any signal. What symptom you see (is it just a black screen, or one with 'painted splotches' all over it)?īlack screen. Is there any miniDP -> miniDP "switch" which will force headless for the time my screen is inactive? Lenovo works alright but only my NUC has this issue. When I turn off my screen/switch/whatever to make screen inactive for some period of time (say over hour, as it works after 5-15 mins) NUC is unable to return to me and I have to hard reset. ![]() NUC is connected via miniDP -> DP + Daisy Chain, while Lenovo is conencted 2x DP -> miniDP (via docking station). I do not use remote access software but I switch my two monitors between 2 machines. What remote access software you are using to access the 'headless' NUC? REMOTIX ULTRAVNC CONFIGURATION DRIVERSAll are with latest possible updates and drivers Windows 8.1, Windows 10 Tech Prev and Ubuntu 15.04. ![]()
